世外桃源度假酒店 (Xanadu Main Beach Resort)

Beautiful location! Stunning ocean views. Easy access to the beach and local shops and restaurants are within a short walk. The apartment was spacious and had all we needed. However the TV volume didn’t work and we couldn’t hear the sound well. Our daughter also had a severe allergic reaction to the sheets, which we ended up washing using our own washing detergent that we bring from home. The most disappointing thing though was the staff, who were not personable or accommodating. We had different staff for check in and check out and on both occasions they were abrupt and it felt as though they just wanted to hurry us through. It doesn’t take much to smile and be welcoming or go the extra mile where you can to take a stay from good to great.

Excellent hotel and facilities. Something for everyone. Beautiful views of the coastline and lovely balconies to enjoy the views. Close to Tedder Ave for great shopping.

Beautiful place to stay

Overall, the cost performance is very high: 1. This location is best for self-driving, as public transportation is not convenient and it is a bit far from the core area, except for Sea World which is very close. 2. It is suitable for self-driving, with parking spaces available and easy parking. 3. We booked a one-bedroom, but a two-bedroom was provided. The other room was marked as unavailable, and if used, a charge would be applied. So the room is very spacious and has a great view, with an amazing sea view. 4. It is very convenient to cook by yourself, especially when you eat on the balcony while enjoying the sea view. 5. To be honest, the hygiene is acceptable, but we found some small insects. One night, I even found a cockroach in the drawer of the bathroom, but it ran too fast to be dealt with. 6. The overall house is quite old, but it seems to have been simply renovated. However, some facilities still have rust, such as the towel rack in the bathroom. 7. The supporting facilities are very good. There is a 7-Eleven, a top-rated brunch restaurant, the hotel's swimming pool, and a tennis court downstairs. The hotel has two swimming pools, one outdoor and one indoor. The indoor pool has a bubble pool and is child-friendly. 8. There is a front desk and the staff are friendly and hospitable. However, since it is an apartment, you have to handle your own garbage, and there are no bath towels provided for replacement. The amount of bath and shampoo products given is also very limited. At first, we couldn't find extra garbage bags, so this needs to be paid attention to when checking in. Overall, it is still recommended. If there is an opportunity, we would choose it again.

travelled with a group of friends but got a solo apartment and was blown away by the size and quality of the room. Whenever not at the resort pool, the beach, or many of the high-quality restaurants surrounding the resort, I was on the balcony with the lovely sea breeze blowing in, reading my book and drinking the complimentary fruity vodka crushes I was delighted to find waiting for me upon first arriving in my room. I will definitely be returning to this resort in the future.
